MOWF has supported Science & Engineering fairs since 2007.  Most recently, the Foundation has been involved with the Capital Science & Engineering Fair, held every February in Madison.  CSEF hosts students from nine counties in central Wisconsin.  MOWF provides a yearly grant for prizes to participating students, and travel expenses for winners to present their projects at the International Science & Engineering Fair.  More information and photos are available at the CSEF website.
The Foundation was honored to co-sponsor the 2015 WATG Teen Conference, held Friday, November 6 in the Wisconsin Dells. Teens attended workshops with "Gifted Guru" Lisa Van Gemert and "Educational Improv Superhero" Peggy Eserkaln as they learned to unlock their inner gifts and talents. MOWF provided take home copies of the Gifted Teen's Survival Guide for each participant. Visit Watg.org to learn about this year's conference. MOWF also sponsored the Teen Conference in 2013 and provided travel scholarships to help teachers attend the meeting that year.
