MOWF congratulations Charles Hua of Madison West High School. At the 2017 Capital Science & Engineering Fair held on March 18 in Madison, Charles was awarded the Mensa of Wisconsin Foundation 1st-Runner Up prize of $500 for his project "The Effect of Shot-Peening on Oxidation Behavior of Nuclear Light Water Reactor Fuel Cladding Material". MOWF has supported Science & Engineering fairs since 1990. Most recently, the Foundation has been involved with the Capital Science & Engineering Fair, held every February in Madison. CSEF hosts students from nine counties in central Wisconsin. MOWF provides a yearly grant for prizes to participating students, and travel expenses for winners to present their projects at the International Science & Engineering Fair.
