Who May ApplyGrants are made to individuals, public institutions, and non-profit organizations. MOWF does not provide grants for investment in an endowment; all grants must be distributed for benefit of the recipients.
Individuals receiving benefit of grants from MOWF---whether directly or through an intermediary organization---must be United States citizens, and must be residents of Wisconsin or the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. |
How to Apply |
Non-profit organizations or institutions are required to provide evidence of a Board of Directors, sound financial management, and the capability to carry out the proposed program or project.
Individuals are required to provide evidence of their acceptance or engagement in the program or activity for which they are requesting assistance. Applications to the MOWF Board of Directors are accepted and reviewed on a quarterly basis. Applicants may submit proposals in writing by January 1, April 1, July 1, or October 1. |
The Board will review requests and determine if a grant will be made after review of available resources and other current priorities. All applicants will receive notification of the Board’s decision within two weeks after the quarterly meeting.
Submit your completed application (included with this information) as instructed on the form. Thank you for your interest in the Mensa of Wisconsin Foundation! Please note that the MOWF Board would prefer that your submission be electronic rather than on paper. Send them to [email protected] |
